Little Gems Childminding, Sheffield

Welcome to Little Gems Childminding in Beauchief, Sheffield. My name is Diane Sharkey, and I am a fully qualified childminder. I hold a current OFSTED approved paediatric first aid certificate, a Developing Quality Practitioners Certificate, the Introduction to pre-school practice certificate, and I am a level 2 teaching assistant with current experience of the Early Years Requirements, along with having 3 children of my own. 

I have policies and procedures in place for my setting, and all outings are fully risk assessed. Prospective parents will be given copies at the initial meeting. I plan age and stage relevant activities for all children, which follow a termly plan and take into account the Early Years Foundation Stage guidance. These activities are mixed with trips to local playgroups, parks, play areas and nature walks in our surrounding countryside.
